Incontestability
Incontestability by Insurer
2+ years after the effective date or reinstatement date, the insurer can only void the policy contract for
- material misrepresentation or
- fraudulent misrepresentation

Exclusions
The insurer can contest the following
- whether the contract was void from the outset (e.g., if no insurable interest)
- specific terms of the contract (e.g., payment of a benefit because the conditions were not met)
